— FIRST IMPRESSIONS —

APPEARANCE A six foot tall, extremely muscular Japanese man with a small goatee, some intense cheekbones, a strong jaw, "beautiful eyes", and something of a perpetual scowl. Resting bitch face, thy name is Kiryu. If you are unlucky enough to see him without a shirt on, you will also get to see the full-back dragon tattoo that goes down to his thighs. It is not, however, visible from the front or while he's wearing clothing.

CLOTHING When in doubt, he will always try to be dressed in a light grey and red color scheme. Generally, this takes the form of a chinpira-style suit and a popped collar with white snakeskin shoes.

DEMEANOR Kiryu is a lifelong yakuza, and his demeanor reflects that. His stance conveys power and confidence, and his personal style is indicative of his background. In other words: there's no mistaking he's yakuza to anyone who knows what they're looking for. Also? That he is 100% ready to throw down. That said, there is a certain 'goodness' and gentleness that shines from him that tends to inspire people to ask for his help or turn to him in times of trouble or need. When excited or enthused, he can be almost like a kid with how he gets into things. When put into an awkward situation or one where he doesn't really have his footing, he can be very shy and even stutter at times. He usually tends to be quiet and can even seem standoffish, except with children. Kids? He's as warm and understanding as it comes. Generally? Best descriptor here is genuine. He is incredibly genuine at all times.

AURA/ENERGY Kiryu has an intense aura, one that people who can see such things will spot right away. Like 'people walking up to him on the street out of nowhere' strong. It can flare up and even tell you what kind of fighting style he intends to employ. Generally, though, it glows blue and shows as flames wreathing him.

AURAL Kiryu has a rather lovely deep, smooth voice. Exhibit A. He tends to speak softly and deliberately and keeps his language clean unless he's in a very bad mood. He can (and does sometimes) growl or shout and he's got a very forceful voice in that case. Very often, he tends to grunt or sigh as opposed to speaking.

OLFACTORY Clean with a light cologne.

Current Skills (other than the strange specific ability to remove his shirt and jacket with a single pull from his shoulder):

DRAGON OF DOJIMA Kiryu's a goddamn superhero, when it comes down to it: he's super strong, ungodly quick, can take hits like a champ, takes a punch like a brick wall, and has an amount of stamina that is absolutely unheard of. He's also got ridiculous reflexes (dodging bullets and rocket launchers, anyone?) and can pull off some physics-defying acrobatics to boot. A mix of styles and teachers, he's got a move for everything and he knows how to use whatever's lying around to bring the pain. If there was a list of people not to fight, Kiryu Kazuma would be at the very top. The man challenges small armies by himself with relative ease.

HEAT Kiryu can utilize the 'heat' of battle, growing stronger as a fight or competition continues. This heat usually takes the form of blue flame/lightning which lets him do frankly supernatural shit like speed up a car, break the laws of physics, make his hits stronger, make him faster, heal his wounds, block bullets and/or sword hits, summon a goddamn spirit dragon of energy- it's pretty ridonkulous.

FOOD HEALING Kiryu heals by eating. That's it, that's really all it takes unless he gets to like, hospitalization levels. Get some bandages on him and shove a beef bowl at him and he'll be back to fighting trim in no time. It also apparently makes him learn things quicker? ~~RGG, what- what even.~~

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT Put a business in his hands, and he turns it to pure gold. From conquering the real estate world to demolishing the Cabaret Grand Prix to conquering a legendary oceanic beast via spearfishing, give Kiryu a business and he'll get it to the top!

JACK OF ALL TRADES Ask Kiryu to learn something (non-intellectual and non-technical, anyway) and he's going to master it. Darts, pool, street racing, shogi, mahjong, spearfishing, photography, acting, voice acting, modeling, pocket circuit racing, taxi driving, being a ramen chef, you name it and he's not only learned it quick, he's gotten to be top tier. Just don't ask him how the internet works...

PARENTING Kiryu? Is a good dad. A really good dad. Which isn't to say he doesn't screw up (oh lord does he screw up sometimes) but his screwing up has more to do with the impossible situations his life presents him with than a lack of understanding in how to handle kids. Because he's amazing with kids and teenagers, with infinite patience and plenty of wisdom and care to provide.

Anti-Magic Field - a 10ft bubble that suppresses magic and magical effects as long as he has it up. It can't undo non-active effects (like it can't undo a magical healing so that it was never healed if the wound is already healed) but if someone throws a fireball his way, it should fizzle once it hits the perimeter. He needs to be conscious to use it (can't just set it and forget it and sleep) but it does follow him where he goes.
